Daniel was the name I was given, so I've stuck with it. Its a pretty practical name, when you pronounce it in Swedish - it will sounds very "Swedish", because its a pretty common name here.... But it actually works pretty good internationally as well. And the best thing is, there is only one way of spelling it (as far as I know at least...). It's not like one of those: "my name is Sara, but with an h - so Sarah".
Yeah, so why change, let's keep the name Daniel for now:)

My Story
The year 2012 was the first real time I can remember having the capacity to imagine what the future of my life would look like. It was also sometime this year that I was first asked the question - "so Daniel, when are you going to compete in the Olympics?"
To be honest, I didn't know much about the Olympics at the time, all I knew was that it was played every 4th year and that it was pretty much the biggest event you could attend in our sport. Well so I did some quick math, and I knew that the next olympics would be in 2014. I thought to myself: "In six years time, by the 2018 Olympics I would be 18 years old, maaaaaybe too young... so let's be reasonable and ad another 4 years" - "2022 I believe I will be there", I said confidently... The man who asked me laughed with his eyes rolling and said - "well that sounds good Daniel".
I ended up attending the Olympics the year 2022 and the rest is now history...
